Let me give you food for thought, people! Get a plate..... Mayor Michael Bloomberg will finish off his third consecutive term for the greatest city in the world. I loved him as a mayor while most other people I know disagrees. At the end of the day, he creates a help line (311) that allows residences of the city to get information for non-life threatening situations, increased teachers pay from 16%-22% in his first term, increase the life expectancy of New Yorkers by 2.5 - 3 years by banning smoking in public parks and restaurants. He helped two new stadiums be built which created job opportunities and had the lowest unemployment rate in any major city in the country while increasing the graduation rate of high school students. He had his shortcomings, such as charging a fee to get into the city pass the Upper East Side and banning large soda drinks. One thing that nobody can deny is that our mayor has changed NYC for the better, especially after what happened 4 months before he was inaugurated on January 1, 2002. Whether you like him, hate him or have no feelings, one thing we can all agree on is that he never waiver his opinions or beliefs like other major political people! You will be a mayor to remember in NYC!!! You will be missed (by me at least) Mayor Michael Bloomberg! Food for thought! You do the dishes...
