Let me make this very clear. I do have respect for my elders. I have not cursed or lied to them, I have not put them down or called them names. And no matter how grown up I am, they will always be my elder. This does not, however, give them the right to put me down, my choices, my life or call me out in front of others. This does not give them the right to say anything they want. My personal life and business is none of your concern unless I make it so. This does not show a lack of good parenting or morals, it shows a lack of respect for me and a lack of self control to put your nose in someones business that you dont even know. I am a grown woman. If you cant treat me the way I deserve then dont speak to me. In all regards I say this respectfully. Just because you are older than I am will never give you the right to decide my life or put my choices down. Decency is sending these things privately. If there is a true concern, then it stays a family matter, not an open public opinion.
