Let me pause to say Thank You for all of the prayers, texts, emails, phone calls and words of encouragement during this very difficult time for me. I tip my hat in salute to my short lil brother Pastor Andrew W. Berry and Amy Metoyer for their support and assistance in making sure Pop was sent home the way he lived- IN EXCELLENCE. To my tall lil brother Kenneth R Green and his entire music staff and community choir JOB WELL DONE. To my brother Sheldons Page thank you for driving me this week and being my sounding board and shoulder to cry on. To the Mount Tabor Church I greatly appreciate your support and prayers. Pastor LeVell Biggriff Griffin you came quickly and kept me focused. Thank you. A HUGE shoutout and thank you to Bro. John N. Humphrey and the marvelous staff of Mainland Funeral Home for going above and beyond to fulfill our wishes. The memorial booklet was nothing short of great and I thank Michelles Printing for a job well done. To my clique I appreciate the unwavering support and concern shown to me at ALL times. Last but certainly not least I thank God for the helpmeet that walks beside me Jovan Harris. Youve rubbed my head and wiped my tears and kept reminding me that God never makes mistakes and that I had to get it together because thats what Pop wouldve expected. I love you and I thank God for you. To Mom Maudlene Jackson I love you and Im praying your strength. You exhibited the true meaning of a wife and you honored your vows to the fullest. I thank God for the privilege of being your son. Just as we promised each other years ago lets continue to run on and see what the end will be.
