Let me warn you. You say you dont think God is listening anylonger, you say you dont feel the Spirit, you look to the future with expectations of failure and misery like the past has bought. You gear yourself up, prepare yourself for hurt, for tears, there seems no place for optimism, why bother to hope, to wish, to pray for when you dont believe that God is walking with you? Well......He hasnt walked away from you, He hasnt stopped watching, istening and hearing our prayers. It is us that push Him away out of our lives, it is us that blames Him, questions Him when things in our lives effect us to such an extent, we find ourselves plunged into temporary darkness. Satan is watching too. Satan will take any and every opportunity to poke us, stir us up, oppress us, convince us that God has walked away from us. He will happily help us to build walls, barricades and towers to keep us away from the Lord. He wants us not to hear Gods voice, wants us to close our Bibles, wants us to withdraw our prayers, wants us to fall into depression and turn back to the world. I tell you this morning, rise up, get back onto your knees and seek His face. He stands before you waiting. He will smash down those walls and barricades, He will rip the darkness into bits and let His Light flood back into your life. Why are you not fighting for Him as He has done for you, for all men? Let us start in prayer, let us reach for His Word and implement it into our lives, let us study, let us feel His Holy Spirit stir us back into the warrior of the Lord we once were. Life is waiting, your future with the Lord, it may be one of ups and downs, joys and tears, not always a basket of fruit but His Promise of eternal Salvation through our steadfastness, our faith, trust and hope in Him is priceless, unparalleled and surely worth our obedience and joy in the Lord. Pull the armour of God from the closet, clean it and wear it with a distinct knowledge you are His, you are protected, He loves you, He will never walk away or abandon you and He has a plan for your life as you walk with Him.
