Let me write this statement in English because I want my friends, irrespective of their different nationalities, to understand what I want to say: I, Dr. Lazhar Bouazzi, from the University of Tunis, will never forgive Israel for a number of reasons chief among which is this: that Edward Saïd, one of the finest thinkers in the history of humanity, and Mahmoud Darwiche, one of the finest poets in the history of humanity, died before they could see their country, Palestine, freed from occupation, which they dreamt of during their entire lives !!!
