Let us simplify the difference between Emigrate, Immigrate & Migrate; Emigrate means moving away from homeland to live in another country; Immigrate means moving into a country to live permanently and Migrate means to Move which may not be permanent and could be within the homeland as well. e.g. People emigrate from India. People immigrate to Australia. Birds migrate to warmer area only to return. Simple Tip: Emigrate means EXIT (both words start with E) Immigrate means coming IN ( both words start with I) Migrate means MOVE (both start with M). Keep liking; Keep enjoying the posts.
