Lethal Weapon - 4.5/5 (****1/2) I cant believe how well this holds up. I hadnt seen it since the million times I saw it as a kid and feared the worst but this was so much fun. Opening with Jingle Bell Rock is still such a perfect start to the film and the score holds up better than a lot of 80s movies. The pacing is excellent as are the performances from Gibson and Glover. The very idea of the final fight scene is ridiculous but seeing Mel Gibson throw on a triangle choke a good 10 years before anyone ever heard of Gracie/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is still fantastic.
