Lets Talk About It, Oklahoma continues tonight with a presentation by Dr. Trisha Yarbrough on THE AWAKENING by Kate Chopin. The book is the third in THE GILDED AGE series, which looks at how five authors addressed the social and economic changes of the era. A scholarly presentation by Dr. Yarbrough will open the program at 6 p.m. in the Whiteacre Room, followed by refreshments, then group discussion. All are welcome. Next Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m., the group will view the documentary W.E.B. DU BOIS: A BIOGRAPHY IN FOUR VOICES, before the Nov. 6 presentation and discussion of Du Boiss THE SOULS OF BLACK FOLK. Books, services, and other materials for this series are provided by LTAIO, a project of the Oklahoma Humanities Council, with funding from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
