Lets be clear on something...if we know that our children (who are still in our care Im not talking 18 and over) are taking part in things that a child shouldnt and arent doing anything about it you arent a parent. If you arent being nosey and going through every aspect of their life you arent being a parent!!! If you find things that are inappropriate and you arent punishing your child and having an open conversation about whats going on you arent a parent! Please be a parent because you are forcing teachers, guidance counselors, discipline deans and police officers to be their parents! Keep a close eye on your children but also try to head of bad behavior and bad choices by teaching them right from wrong, godly from ungodly. BE A PARENT I DONT WANT TO BE ONE FOR YOU!!! You can bet your but if I find out your kid isnt involved in things they shouldnt be I am going to hold them accountable to the best of my ability as a friend/teacher in the situation. Also...be aware I had no sleep and am grumpy and emotional because I am having to hold some kids responsible because their parents dont!
