Lets clear some things up... The resurrection of the dead is first and primarily the literal standing again of a corpse .. we are not resurrected in Christ, we are raised WITH Christ in HIS resurrection not our own... Paul states we are born again NOT the old dead man coming back to life but the old man died and a new spirit is created in us.. Rev 20 confirms the resurrection is of dead people... I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded ....They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.... people who were beheaded are dead people in heaven how do they come back to life? resurrection Math 27.52....52The tombs also were opened. And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised, (NOT RAISED IN CHRIST) 53and coming out of the tombs after his resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many. ... SO THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD IS REAL .....PHYSICAL BODIES COMING OUT OF THE GRAVE.. THE First Resurrection.. Of Rev 20 IS the same of I Thess 4 and I Cor 15 as there are ONLY TWO Resurrections...as Dan 12.2 and John 5.28 - 29 confirms one of those in Christ to eternal life and the other of those who face eternal judgment.. THe first resurrection....happens only at one place in time ...
