Lets examine some FACTS. FACT: Blount County has an enormous debt and currently has no plan whatsoever to reduce this debt and/or pay it off. FACT: The debt that Blount County has developed is causing woeful hardships in many areas of public service (i.e. highways, schools, etc.). FACT: James R. Gann, Jr. has heard the voice of the constituents asking the county commission to set sensible priorities for the budget-making process and is prepared to do what is necessary to begin decreasing the debt of Blount County, putting tax dollars back to work for the people.
