Lets get in the spirit. What are your favorite Christmas memories? Ill share 2 recent ones. Oddly enough 1 is the year I spent it in Afghanistan. We had Canadian and German soldiers that stayed with us. About 11 Germans. Some would go to the international camp down the road (camp warehouse) for open mic night..... (they had bars on their camps...lol ) but anyway. .. we had a big dinner and sang songs , some in German ,some in English but at the end they surprised us by playing country roads by John Denver live for us (singing in English).... instruments and all. It was a great reminder that the majority of the world is like us and has a good heart and has the same cause as us.... my second was what I posted earlier. .. where I got to surprise my mom by showing up in the mountains. I was going to be the only 1 not there because I had to cover a boat at work. Last minute the boat slipped enough time for me to be able to make the trip and spend a day up there... she was soooo surprised. .. I was definitely the favorite that Christmas. ..lol ... feel free to share yours. MERRY CHRISTMAS!
