Lets get one thing straight: the Kurdish struggle has very little - TopicsExpress

Lets get one thing straight: the Kurdish struggle has very little in common with the Palestinian plight. Most Kurds originate from west Iran and eastern Anatolia. They fled these areas and migrated to present-day Iraq (Erbil and Suleimaniyyeh) and Syria (Al-Hasakah, Raqqa, and northern Aleppo). They inhabited these areas, but refused to assimilate with the population and adopt their customs. Instead, they chose to distance themselves and combat with any local government. The present-day Palestinians are genetically diverse, as they are a blend of Arab, Canaanite, and et al. Contrary to the Zionist narrative, these people are indigenous to the land; however, they are not Jews. The Palestinians adopted Arabic as their language and accepted many customs that may have derived from other lands. Unlike the Kurds, Palestinians were forced off of their ancestral lands because of the language they speak and the religion they follow. Their diaspora is a perfect example of ethnic cleansing. Kurds have notoriously played the victim in history, claiming discrimination and Arab aggression. Most of these claims are unfounded and manipulated. The Kurds worked with the Ottoman Turks to slaughter 1.5 million Armenians, 1 million Assyrians (and then took their land), and 800,000 Greeks. Kurds even slaughtered themselves for power. Many Kurds Salahiddine Ayoub as an example of a prominent Kurd who saved Al-Quds. First off, his army of Arabs saved Al-Quds and the language he spoke was Arabic. He rarely acknowledged his ethnicity among his men and by all records, didnt consider himself a Kurd, but rather, identified with the tribe he was from. I have no issue with Kurds who choose to live side-by-side in peace with Arabs. However, I do have issues with Kurds who use the death of Arabs and the destruction of country as a way to attain power and autonomy. They did it in 1915, 2003, and in the present-day; it will not work. There is far too much resentment and hostility directed towards them and their endeavors. If Israel is their route to autonomy, they will never find peace.
