Lets just say foster care is not for everyone. But if you really love kids and want to change lives. Be consistent. Be genuine. Treat everyone as if they were your own. And treat them the same way when they go back home or on their own. Nothing worse than to feel comfortable then leave the house and no one remember you ! Its easy to say and not to do. But let me reassure you we talk the talk and walk the walk. I have had a descent amount of kids come thru our house. Some were a pleasure. Some were rough!! I mean rough. But we love them none the less. We stay in touch we a good number of the kids. Mostly older now. Some mothers themselves. They seem to be doing well. At our home are family helped break the cycle. This video was hard to watch. But VERY true. Some of these girls gave me tons of grief. But I would not take it back. If we. My wife family and I showed them how things can be. Even 1. It was worth it!! I dont have an ice bucket! But I challenge you to watch this. ALL THE WAY THRU!! Then research it a little more. Be a big brother. A big sister. Help at the boys and girls club. Maybe you cant have kids. I was adopted. Its close to my heart. Helping over seas is great. But there is so many kids here at home that need a stable loving home!!! Sorry for the rant. Not much like me. I have just seen this in my daughters!! Not by birth but daughters all the same!! Iove you girls. No need to tag. And Alex of course!
