Lets never ask each other to stand trial of our lifestyle, our principles, our character. It is ugly, uncivilized, and demeans the dignity of all parties involved. We are not in the business of convincing others of our integrity. When we are invited to such trials, lets calmly and politely decline. We have far more important engagements to attend. I apologize to those Ive treated in this way, and to those Ive allowed to treat me this way. I regret the folly of my righteousness most in those instances when I allowed it to cause heartache in all our perfectly imperfect souls. I dont know that I could even measure the depth of my gratitude for our human capacities for forgiveness, understanding, and growth. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.
