Lets play a hypothetical game. Say I walked up to you and - TopicsExpress

Lets play a hypothetical game. Say I walked up to you and punched you, said I was sorry, and you forgave me. I dont for a few days, but then I do it again, then say Im sorry. You reluctantly forgive me, a few more days pass, and I do it again. Do you keep forgiving me and keep letting me punch you? Do you forget the hurt and move on? I said Im sorry, so that makes it all better, right??? You eventually get sick of being hurt and you push me out of your life. Whether its a fast or slow process, it happens. Do you take the blame for pushing me out of you life? Would you make me prove I am sorry by me admitting I was wrong, then making a 100% effort to never hurt you again? Would you ever trust me again if I didnt make an effort? Would it be my decision how much effort I put forth? Or would it be yours? And what gives you the right to dictate how much I have to try?
