Then big oil, Detroit, California and the battery industry made GM kill the program and repossess the cars. Yes, repossess as in take them back from its purchasers and stick them in a storage lot like in the end of the original Indiana Jones movie. Now GM wants at it again because apparently Tesla has found a way to make money and also kick the special interests out. Tesla even wants to sell you a car via the internet without a dealer.
