Letter to my Jealousy Dear jealousy, your night was never ending, - TopicsExpress

Letter to my Jealousy Dear jealousy, your night was never ending, you kept me awake, alert, auditing her every move like a driving instructor or a famished animal. I was one with radars, bore a love for persecution, thirsted for blood to drench my insecurity. Dear jealousy, the more we possess the easier it is to succumb to petulance and hate. I scanned the men around me, any trace of radiance hurt like a flopped endoscopy. I wanted London to vanish. I wanted her to inhabit solely in my mirror of madness. Dear jealousy, Thrice I went to the shrink to try and exorcise my past but I’d paid for the start, there was no door to unlock, no diamond knot to untie. You conspired with the moon, you fed from the ego of stars, the changes in the tides lured your hate of men in lust. Dear jealousy, I have been the village fool, lashing out at party balloons inflated in my mind. I have questioned emotions kings would have paid for, and all ‘cos you wanted a show. Dear jealousy, be kind, I love the wounded wolf yet he must rest a while.
