Letterkenny General Hospital update Department of Psychiatry Admissions at Letterkenny General Hospital to resume admissions this morning 30 July 2013 The Department of Psychiatry at Letterkenny General Hospital will offer a reduced admission service to the unit from this morning, Tuesday 30 July. Local GPs have been notified and will liaise with the local Community Mental Health Teams to arrange assessments and admissions as necessary. Donegal Mental Health Service Management team regrets any inconvenience caused over this weekend and is endeavouring to maintain service delivery. “We would like to acknowledge the ongoing support of the public during the management of this flood incident. If members of the public have any queries or concerns, they should contact their local GP, Out of Hours (NoWDOC service), or the Department of Psychiatry at 087 6182621. The Director of Nursing, Mr Kevin Mills added, “On behalf of the Donegal Mental Health Service, I would like to acknowledge the support offered by all staff and the local community on Friday evening and throughout the weekend.”
