Let’s face it. We are already so far down. There’s so much ecological damage and social polarization going on, we will be hitting some very rough spot in the next decade, anyhow. It’s too late to prevent that. But what we can control is, how do I respond to that situation? Am I squeezing, freaking out, acting on anxiety and fear or am I opening up and leaning into the future and providing help to others to do the same? That’s where our choice is and that’s where the opportunity is. That’s where I see an enormous amount of possibility in confidence and inspiration around us. Otto Scharmer
