Liberals love the sound of their own voices, but despise opposing viewpoints. As such, they actually hate the 1st Amendment almost as much as the 2nd. With UC Berkeley being the center of the liberal world, the source of where all liberalism emanates from, the school Chancellor has decided to set the parameters for free speech. In an e-mail to faculty, staff, and students, Chancellor Nicholas Dirks, with a straight face, has limited free speech to only include courteous and respectful language. Sure, this may sound like he’s infringing on a Constitutional right, but give him a break, he’s trying to avoid subjects that are divisive and controversial. Free speech is just about saying things that everyone agrees on, right?
