Liberty Warriors, It is with great pride that I announce to you the results of our Unit Effectiveness Inspection. The Liberty Wing received an overall “Highly Effective!” Inspection results from the four major areas inspected break down as follows: - Managing Resources (Adequacy/Stewardship): Effective/Effective - Leading People: Highly Effective - Improving the Unit: Effective - Executing the Mission: Highly Effective The principle behind Unit Effectiveness Inspections marks a paradigm shift in the way the Air Force inspects its wings. No longer are we inspected based on a small snapshot in time seen by inspectors. Instead, the inspectors evaluate how we as a wing have executed over the past 24 months, as reflected by our Commander’s Inspection Program. That means that the results of this inspection are not based on “inspection preparation.” They are based on your last two years of performance and compliance. Be proud that “Highly Effective” reflects more than a week-long inspection, and continue to maintain your high level of performance. We will continue our actions in the upcoming months to maintain the high level of readiness and compliance we enjoy right now. While every member of the Liberty Wing made this inspection a success, the USAFE-AFAFRICA Inspector General’s team recognized several teams and individuals as superior performers.
