Life Lessons: I have always been told that everyone needs a hobby, something to do in their spare time. (spare time? Whats THAT?) Didnt have much spare time, until first week this past May. (PM me for details) Und, so. . .doing two new things here, in an attempt to Hobby my way into a better life experience. First thing; learning Spanish. Having a BALL. Pimsleur Approach is really working out well for me. Message me if you are interested: I derive no monetary benefit from helping you with this, except for my own personal satisfaction. Hand to God . Second, equally important thing; The confidence I have gotten from Pimsleur, has helped me in fresh pursuit of a BA in Business Administration, with a concentration in either Marketing or Accounting (havent decided. Your input will be gratefully considered). This school has accepted TWENTY-EIGHT ancient credits, which had been acquired During The Last Century. Accepted as electives mostly (because they were major-specific) , but still good. So happy, because those relics from my past will accelerate my graduation by a full YEAR. Hey, Ill be fifty-six in three years (Lord willing, an the creek dont rise), with or withOUT a diploma, a sheepskin. Those jobs, for which I am currently over-qualified, will be much easier to attain with a brand-new Sheepskin. * * . . .so. Here are the Lessons, on the off-chance you have missed them: {LOTS!} (1.) Please. Please. Please. Learn how to relax, and take time for yourself. I am working on that now, and it is haaarrrrd. Absolutely necessary, though. (2.) Youth is wasted, on the Young. (Had to get that in, hahaha.) (3.) Sheepskin, comes from the use of parchment paper in the making of important documents: paper made from sheep or goatskin, instead of papyrus or other plant materials, can last for centuries. (4.) Okay, the random stuff is out of the way now. If you are a young person currently enrolled in college, Take The Math and English Courses NOW. Then, the Science courses. Everything else will be a breeze, if for some reason you need to stop out, and return to school. ***Reposted from 8/5/14
