Life has been crazy this week. I have been house sitting at a friends house about 35 minutes from my house, watching their crew (dogs, cats, birds, fish) while Tony takes of our crew. Then, another friend literally had a stray Peke jump in her car. Meet Buttercup! We took her in (Tonys idea) and thought we had a rescue in place for her this weekend. That fell through, but K9 Kindness Rescue, Inc might be able to help. She doesnt seem to like other pets, but is super sweet with people. Shes missing an eye, so is special needs. And yes, we reported her as found. No one is looking for her. Spent $165 on vet care and there was no microchip. She was matted and had an ear infection. Shes had several litters of puppies in the past from the looks of her poor belly. Due to not liking others and being special needs, I want her to go to a Peke experienced no-other-pets home or else a rescue where she can be evaluated properly before placed. Also -- no one tell my landlord. I really dont want evicted. Thanks! So stressed -- hoping this is resolved soon.
