We can be as brilliant as a celebrated novel and we have as much intellectual potential and tenacity as many great classic dissertations may have. We are as special as the people we read about in magazines and as valued in our quiet way as the great and good people we read about in books from our collective world history. We can be loving mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, friends and family. We are more than any song or any update. We are more than perceptions.
