Life in the wonderful new South Africa.... Last night in Spar I was looking for black dustbin bags. There were 2 security guards standing around so I decided to ask them if they knew in which isle I can find it. The female guard was closer so I asked her and only got a blank stare back asif I was speaking a foreign language... like Klingon or Navi... I desided to clarify and asked for dustbin bags, refuse bags, black bags, plastic bags that go in the dustbin and anything else that came into my mind... still just a blank stare... The male guard then approached and I repeated the entire list to him. Another blank stare... I then said its ok and decided to continue on my quest, leaving the two to converse amongst themselves in one of the numerous official languages, of which English clearly isnt one!! Suddenly from behind I hear a breakthrough. .. the female guard asks me: Are you looking for rifooosssthe begz...? Blank stare from me this time... and a puzzled yes, not really knowing what I was replying too. She then directs me down an isle and miraculously I find what I was looking for.
