Life is a Gift...and Its Beautiful... WATCH THIS VIDEO* FIRST. Watch the other video mentioned in the nearly identical post right below this one--SECOND for my sons candid, unrestrained joy. My DIL, Kathy, made two lovely videos (they both total about three minutes), and sent them to our fam on June 7. She sent the first video, made to mark Elijah and Kathys 12th anniversary. As I sat and watched (having no idea about the surprise ending), my eyes were brimming w/tears of joy...@ the end, I was brushing away the tears as they flowed down my cheeks. I showed it to Gene, and he was moved, as well. The second video is one that Kathy made of my son, Elijah (unbeknownst to him), and their kids, Ari, Lucy and Ellie (well, she wasnt REALLY watching, but you CAN hear her at least) watching the video as described in the first paragraph. The kids are so cute as they recognize themselves and each other in the video, and Ari is so sweet to his baby sister, Ellie, after he sees her image in the video. He turns to her, and says, Thats you... as if she cared. The ending, however, goes directly over the kids heads, but my sons reaction is absolutely classic, and touching as he takes in the news. By the end, he and Kathy are in tears (although you cant see Kathy). From his reaction, you would think that this was their first baby. But, this new one is joining three other siblings, and lots of cousins, and we are stoked about it. May we NEVER be jaded to the gift of life w/which God blesses our lives. And, may the birth of babies always be a joyous occasion; w/the Psalmist, may we remember that life begins w/God. For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mothers womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. Psalm 139:13-14 *I asked both my son and DIL if they would give me permission to post this, and they agreed.
