Life is fragile. Ive been reminded of this several different times this week. Yesterday, Michael and I were in an accident on the way to the beach. We are okay and so is the driver who hit us. However, in that moment, that split-second when you arent sure how things will turn out, everything slows down and it feels like you are in a dream. You want to wake up before something terrible happens, but you cant. Then, when you know you are safe, all the thoughts come flooding in and you take inventory of your life, where you are and where you want to be. Reflection is good for the soul. Unfortunately, it takes a tragic or traumatic event for us to really wake up. Praying for Ketrina Hollis-Mariner, Setina Hollis, Cindy Mock, and the families of my great Uncle Larry, and expressing my gratitude for the shield of protection that prevented our Jeep from flipping over into the water and onto the rocks yesterday. The way the Jeep was hit, we should have rolled...and we didnt. Thank you Lord and our guardian angels!
