Life is what you make it… Some things you have NO control over but you can control how you think about it. This life we live in is a very complex phenomenon. However, you can simplify it to its simplest form ingenuously by way of ANALYZING, THINKING and EXECUTING. Life will throw curve balls at you! I like to call these curve balls “adversity.” Adversity comes in different forms of all sorts. For my parents, it might be that your kids are acting up, being disrespectful, etc while you are busting your butt day in and out to make ends meet…. For my college students, it might be you studying faithfully even pulling all nighters but not making the desired grades…. For my athletes, it may be you training religiously but not making it to the winners circle…. or whatever your situation may be. I said all of that to say this…. Life can and will throw you curve balls. The key is to never stop swinging! As long as you swing and foul that curve ball (ADVERSITY) back you can’t strike out. If you swing at and foul enough curve balls eventually you will begin to make better contact and get on base. Base being success in life while using that curve ball/adversity as motivation; you might hit a single, double, triple and maybe even a home run if you stay on the right path moving at the right speed. Patience is a virtue. So, Embrace adversity and look it in the eye. Fight back, don’t let adversity punk you. Stick your chest out and raise your head high!
