Life never ceases to surprise us, I lost a dear high school teacher of mine just as my family was blessed with a new member, a baby girl. I dont believe Ive ever actually seen such contrasting events take place at the same time and with people so dear to me. Its definitely a wake up call to remind me that life is too short to take people for granted.
