Light the Bridge became a true nightmare as I drove home tonight. Fully lit in red, the bridge was transformed into what I can only equate to a horror film hell. I felt like I was just waiting for someone to jump in front of my car or attack me from my back seat. I couldnt drive fast enough to escape the encapsulating steel of a bridge I once found such pleasure in crossing. My racing heart then broke at the memories of those who had ended their lives here. Why, if we were to bring light to this grand structure, couldnt it be one of hope, safety, and beauty?
