Like Animals a Novel(with Soundtrack) by Allan Arrington Chapter Three Situated on the couch by the door, George looked over at the tree by the window. It gave off much more light than had been noticeable from the outside. With what was spilling over from the kitchen, George could almost read in this light. He looked over at the fish tank in the corner, also spilling over bright rays into the kitchens flow, and was surprised to see flounder sized fish bumping the averaged sized ones into the corners. The rooms peace shattered as boulder sized breasts pressed into the room and landed on the couch, on the other side of the room. The intimidating woman spread out there and rolled over to stare at him. Hes sposed to be here by now, must be crowded at the mall...then staring. Im terribly sorry to bother you, George said, looking at the generic sitcom on the TV in front of the covered fireplace between the openings to the kitchen and hallway. You aint bothern nobody, hon, she said, looking up to her son, marching in from the hallway, whatchoo want, boy? He looked at George and held up a portable PlayStation, you play NBA 2K? No, Im more of a Madden man, myself, got any? No, he said, stomping his foot, and looking down. The whole tree shook slightly, and both of them looked at the intimidating figure rising up from the couch. Watch out man, or youll wind up on the naughty list, George said, smiling, trying to lighten the mood. Go to youre room, and wait for your father to come home she said firmly, but not meanly. George breathed a sigh of relief, then T-O walked in.
