Like crying wolf. Theyre endangered too, and are protected and (unlike smelt) wolves are making a comeback -- and despite that the ranching industry is still going strong. And the pistachio farms are going gang-busters -- the article is nicely factually accurate, including the aprt about living with smelt protections since 2008, but cant help getting on the anti-smelt bandwagon.
