The Arrowsmith Program The Illawarra Grammar School is considering offering the Arrowsmith Program in addition to the extensive support currently offered to students of all abilities and strengths. A final decision will be made at the conclusion of the following process: Evaluation of the Arrowsmith Program by TIGS Academic Staff during Semester 1, 2014. Public Forum held featuring Barbara Arrowsmith-Young on 27 June 2014. Expressions of interest received from families representing students that satisfy the selection criteria – to be received by the School no later than 18 July 2014. Expressions of interest considered: The families of students that do not satisfy the TIGS selection requirements will be notified by the end of August 2014. The school will not engage in discussion about the selection process and the decisions that are made. A decision on whether the Arrowsmith Program will be offered at TIGS will be made by the end of Term III, 2014. A significant factor that will inform this decision will be the number of expressions of interest received from families with children that satisfy the TIGS selection criteria. The Arrowsmith Program will not be offered if there is an insufficient number of students to make the program viable. The decision rests entirely with the School.
