Lil mama lost 1 and 1/2 pounds since thursday :-( shes eating...but not as much. Rad onco said if she continues to lose weight she will have to be fed via her port during the night. He said to offer her food every hour in between breakfast..lunch and dinner. He also wants her to have high calorie foods...basically whatever she wants just to get calories. If she wants only milkshakes ..then thats what it will be. Obviously they dont suggest that all the time...but with her having abdominal radiation we are at the point after treatment 6, where she is going to be more nauseated with each one :-( her taste buds have changed so much since chemo is damaging her good cells like taste buds....i know what she likes but some days its not what she wants.
