Limerick’s one and only saxophone quartet, THE BLUE MONK QUARTET, are well known and loved for their eclectic, entertaining mix of Jazz, movie themes, contemporary and original compositions.Sadly, founding member Patrick Olsen (baritone sax) will be leaving Limerick soon, so this will be the last chance to see and hear the quartet in its present line-up and at the same time to welcome our new member Alec Brown on cello.To make this an evening to be remembered, the wonderful Kathleen Turner will be joining us on vocals together with Bart Kiely on drums.
