They open wide enough to accommodate stretcher bars, hoops, afghans, etc. Manufactured in the U.S.A. as part of a work program for the disabled. * ORGANIZATION IDEA: If you want to keep a project together, experiment with storing the different size bags inside each other to separate your supplies. For example, store your needlepoint canvas in a Flat Sack; your fibers, beads, and stitch guide in a Project Pouch; and your needles and tools in a Gadget Bag so that you know all the blue bags are for the same project.
