Lindsay Lohan Upset with Fox News over Reprehensible and Hurtful Statement A lawyer for Lindsay Lohan has sent a letter to Fox News Channel, claiming it aired a statement regarding the actress that was “outrageously slanderous and defamatory.” According to attorney Mark Heller, Fox News guest Michelle Fields stated on a program titled Great American Panel, which aired on February 4, that “Lindsay Lohan’s mom is doing cocaine with her.” The letter says Fields’ statement was false, “reprehensible, egregious and hurtful,” in part because the show had referenced stars who died prematurely, such as Philip Seymour Hoffman, Cory Monteith and Michael Jackson.
