Lindsay writes of her first summer bearing witness of cows at St. Helens and Ryding-Regency Meat Packers slaughterhouses: I made this video a while back during my visit to a slaughter house here in Toronto. It is graphic. It is also just the end of the line for these poor souls, after their lifetime of suffering due to us humans. The cows were stacked two storeys high in the trucks, and though I was too nervous to get close enough to the moving truck with the camera to see inside, the shit stained sides and their poor noses peeking out say it all.
