Linfield at Launch of Danske Bank Premiership 2013/14 The new Danske Bank Premiership season was formally launched at a media event last night the Newforge County Club in South Belfast. Players from every top-flight club were in attendance, alongside an array of club chairmen, managers and officials. Linfield were represented at the event by goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey, captain Michael Gault, chairman Jim Kerr and manager David Jeffrey. THE 2013/14 season sees the launch of the Northern Ireland Football League (NIFL) as the organising body of the Danske Bank Premiership, the Belfast Telegraph Championship, and the League Cup, as well as the Reserve League and the Youth League, with responsibility for the administration and commercial rights of these competitions. The NI Football League (as it will be known) is a private company that has 42 member clubs from the Premiership, Championship 1 & 2, who will each be a Shareholder.
