Lingering showers give way to some sunshine today as parts of the region deal with high waters and flooding. Yesterday’s record rainfall lead to widespread flooding and today all that rain continues to run downstream causing more flooding concerns, despite the fact that the rain is letting up. After the morning’s lingering showers, there will be breezy and milder conditions with evening showers. Highs will be in the upper 70s. There is an ongoing Flood Warning with river and coastal concerns through the morning. For tomorrow, expect a mix of clouds and sunshine with highs in the 70s. #DCforecast #Weather bit.ly/laIRkT
