@Lisa McDuffy - I know you were terribly upset (as many others) when Joan Rivers passed so I was wondering what you thought about this? Back in the day you couldnt tell me Joan wasnt funny as she joked about everything under the sun - even herself. I thought her catch phrase Can we talk was genius. However, as she got older her jokes stop being funny TO ME. Dare I say during the last few years of her life she became downright mean, nasty, willfully combative - even bitter. Yet, in all honesty thats acceptable now; she may have felt justified. Weve become a society and culture that revels in the tearing down of others in the name of entertainment and keeping it real.
