Lisa Simms and I want to thank Homeless Animal Lifeline for their absolutely tireless efforts to advocate for and rescue the animals at Helmetta Shelter these past few years. And we know the best way to thank you and continue to support your work with Helmetta is by making a donation. Weve been hoarding coins for the past year, intending to use them for something fun. But nothing could make us happier than helping you care for these animals. So this morning, we took our coins to the coin counter and cashed them in. We will be sending you a donation for $282.52 via Paypal today. Please use it toward the care of Helmetta animals, both still in the shelter and already in your care. Were posting this in the hope that others might consider lifting some couch cushions and digging under car seats to collect whatever coins they have, and donating them to HAL or another rescue involved with this awful situation.
