List of some approval passed by the Cabinet, Govt. of Manipur: 1. To lay off the FCI transport contractors selected for the four valley districts as a first step towards implementing the National Food Security Ordinance. 2. Agreed to relax the age bar of candidates who would appear in the Manipur Civil Services Combined Examination by five years. 3. The State Cabinet gave its consent to amend service rules of Manipur Finance Service. 4. District authorities have been entrusted to handle the work of issuing gun licences and driving licences so that people living outside the State cannot obtain these licences. 5. The Cabinet further gave its approval to create necessary posts for recruitment of 498 Primary teachers and 130 Hindi Matriculate teachers so that the pending MGEL work for Primary Teachers can be completed. 6. Another point unanimously agreed by the Cabinet was extension of the service period of VDF by one more year.
