I met Kungam briefly in September when I visited Gu Chu Sum Movement of Tibet, a Dharamsala-based NGO by former political prisoners and for political prisoners of Tibet. Kungam himself was a political prisoner for a few years in Tibet. His grandfather and grandmother were tortured to death. His parents were both beaten and detained.
