Listening to a conservative trying to have an intelligent argument against weed tying himself into tighter and tighter knots. Every objection he had was so easily rebutted that he ended up with kind of a well, Ok, but I still think it ought to be illegal, position. I hope were over the hump on this one, because it would save our society a heck of a lot of money to stop prosecuting and jailing people over a little bit of pot, as well as generate huge tax revenues and finally bring back industrial hemp. The forces arrayed against this are of course, the petroleum industry (anything you can make out of petroleum - plastics, lotions, fabrics, etc., you can make out of hemp, including a grand bio fuel), the pharmaceutical industry for obvious reasons, and the liquor industry - all of which dont want the competition. Free market indeed.
