Listening to a podcast of Brody Holloway, preaching at Red Oak Church. What if,the only thing you were promised, is Jesus? Or put another way...What if you were promised heaven and everything you like and care about and desire in this life would be there.Every relationship,every material possession,everything you could taste,see,and experience was promised to you was there,but Jesus was not gonna be there...would you take it? And if the answer is yes, then you dont have Jesus now.Because Jesus is our portion,He is our provision. The people of Hebrews 10 got that...and all they were promised was a land of milk and honey. Milk and Honey....blah. We get Jesus!
