Listening to old songs and had a revelation.., this song is my grandmother ....GOSPEL TRUTH... I was a young 20 something trying to get on with the Fire Department. I was sitting in my Grand mothers kitchen and she just picked the phone up and called the Mayors office and actually got thru to Bill Boner on the phone. She told the sitting Mayor of Nashville who she was and how she routinely paid off his daddy in the 60s at her bar when he was on the police dept and she needed a favor... I WAS HORRIFIED!!!....The woman was fearless....before all that she had trouble with Bocephus and a young Kris Kristopherson swept her floors but thats another story.... toughest woman I ever knew, miss ya.
