Lithuanian Picnic Cabbage Ingredients: Potatoes halved or quartered 2 large onions sliced 2 heads chopped cabbage(into medium pieces) 1 lb. bacon cut in half Sauté onion and bacon in a fry pan(Do Not crisp bacon) Add layer of potatoes and top with a layer of cabbage. Continue adding multiple layers of potatoes and cabbage depending the depth of your pan Finish by topping with a layer of bacon. For Oven: Add 1 glass of water(about 1 1/2 cups) Simmer until potatoes are soft For Crock Pot: Add 2 glasses of water(about 3 cups) Cook on high for 3 hours. OR Heat to boiling then turn down to low and cook for 5 hours.
