Little Mama is gathering up trash. She likes to dump all the trash into one big one and carry it to the garage. Its a routine she does about three times a day. No we dont have that much trash. She just likes doing it. LOL Going with Kathy to get a pedicure this morning when Little Mama takes her nap. An outing together is rare for us these days, and one I miss. We used to do lots of fun stuff together but we are both committed to taking care of Little Mama, so that is the trade-off. Next week is the award assembly at Paden High School in Paden, Ok. where my sister, Diane, and I graduated. I have been giving a scholarship to a graduating senior in her name since 1996. Its supposed to be up in the high 90s and even into the 100s during the next nine days. I predict the pool will get christened. My toe is first in the water, thank you very much. Gotta buy sunscreen and those foam water noodles. those are my favorites for floating. Little Mama is on a kick where she thinks she just moved here with me and is worried constantly that her money is in some other bank, that none of her bills are getting paid, and that someone is living in her parents house. The fact that shes been here with me going on 9 years, that I pay her bills, and that she and her sister sold their parents place many years ago is all forgotten. I can not tell you the chaos this causes daily. She lives in constant panic about one thing or another, and if she cant think of something to dwell/worry about, she comes to where Im at and stands and stares at me without talking. I try to ignore it, but Id like to see how long you take it before you snap. Finally, Ill break and ask...Is there something you need, Mother? I think I owe someone money, she says; without fail; every time. And off she goes...naming all the places/people it might be. Its maddening but theres no way to stop it. It is what it is. Calm. Peaceful. Serene. Pick one. Be it.
